Ted's foundation in the construction industry began at an exceptionally early age, working with his father and grandfather in carpentry and construction. Ted acquired and highly enjoyed gaining unparalleled, valuable, hands-on skills in basic carpentry and woodworking starting at a young age of about 9 years old observing how plans were traditionally hand-drafted and learning directly from a master builder, developer; Ted’s grandfather, as well as Ted’s father who also was a highly skilled licensed contractor, taught Ted the most important carpentry skills needed as a successful contractor - from using a circular saw, to toenailing nails, Teds carpentry skills developed at a young age
With a combined experience of over 25 years in the construction industry, Ted integrated his early artistic talents with his passion for drafting plans which helped integrate carpentry and building and understanding construction techniques and how things are built and designed - this combination is unparalleled when it comes to managing a construction project and more importantly, when building a structure.
Teds technical education includes extensive drafting courses in drafting and CAD (Computer-Aided Drafting), as well as other architectural education and design courses.
This unique blend of practical, hands-on field experience and formal architectural education allows Ted to approach every construction project with a clear understanding of the construction and architectural elements of each project and how they are implemented.
